    • This place is a hole in the wall, and man was their BBQ good! And good prices too. I'd pass on Golden Rule down the street for this place any day.

Ever go to a restaurant that serves big portions and then there's never room for desserts but you're all like "DAMN THAT LOOKS GOOD." Well here's a good section for that kind of thing.

  • Terranova's off of University Drive/Hwy 72 (next to Backyard Burgers) is great for Italian food.
  • Tony's Little Italy located on Hwy 72 (near Providence Main) features New York style Italian food. Tony's also has a location in Madison off of Wall Triana. The Huntsville store is known for its sit down atmosphere and New York pizza, pasta, and calzones, while the Madison location is known more for its deli sandwiches (with names like The Capone, The Godfather, The Luca Brazzi, etc.).

  • La Michoacana on University Dr. is acclaimed for being the most authentic Mexican Restaurant in town.
  • Casa Blanca in Madison across from Kroger has an extended menu compared to most local Mexican Restaurants
  • Bandito Burrito on Governor's Dr. (not in Madison) is a Local Favorite, but falls closer to a "Greasy Spoon" mexican place than authentic.
  • Red Rose (formerly Mexico Lindo) on Madison Blvd (in Madison) offers great authentic Mexican cuisine at reasonable prices.

  • Papa Gyros on University has good Mediterranean food
  • Jamos Cafe on Jordan Lane
  • Papou's - 110 South Side Square (Downtown Huntsville)
    • across from the Courthouse, next to Tavern under the square or whatever they're calling it these days, down from Harrison Brothers Hardware

  • Coming Soon! A Mellow Mushroom will be opening opened in the Providence area (on University / 72 going west just past the car dealerships) The food was good, the service was good, but there don't seem to be any sound buffers so it's impossible to carry on a conversation as all conversations and noises flow into each other.
  • Tony's Little Italy makes great italian style pizzas. They're in Providence next to CheeburgerCheeburger
  • Big Ed's Pizza makes a great pizza.
  • Donatos is a local chain that delivers. Their pizza awesome. Give the philly cheesesteak pizza a try one night.

  • The Po' Boy Factory in Five Points has great fried seafood at very reasonable prices ($7.99 for a single item platter, $9.99 for 3 item "combo" platter)
    • Also their bread pudding will get you drunk
  • Tim's Cajun Kitchen.
    • Best crab legs!
    • They also have grouper, gator, shrimp, oysters, etc.
    • The stuffed potato and green bean casssrole are amazing.
  • Bonefish
    • Get the Bang Bang shrimp app, and the chowder.
    • It's kind pricey, but we usually get the Bang Bang shrimp, the crab cakes, a couple of salads and a couple of soups and leave happy!
  • Grille 29
    • Has good crab cakes
