Five points is unlike the other areas in Huntsville. The homes in the area are typically smaller and older, but go for the same price as the much younger and modern homes elsewhere in the city. This is likely because Five Points itself is more than a home, you're also buying into a lifestyle.

Unlike the rest of the city, grocery stores, coffee shops, and a handful of restaurants are all in walking distance. Downtown is a brief bike ride away, and Five Points itself is situated at the base of Monte Sano.

• Olde Town Coffee - 5 points Area, this is the oldest and most true-to-style coffee shop in town. Hippies come here and beat on their drums, good mixture of ages from grey beards to high school punks.
• The Po Boy Factory in Five Points has great fried seafood at very reasonable prices ($7.99 for a single item platter, $9.99 for 3 item "combo" platter)
  • Also their bread pudding will get you drunk
• Thai Garden
