- At the Flying Monkey Arts Center!
- Every Saturday - Artist Market, Admission FREE (noon)
- Local artists and others are invited to set up a booth at the Flying Monkey Arts Center and sell their wares to the public. There will be art, jewelry, vintage clothing, and more interesting things for sale inside our facility - safe from rain. WE NOW HAVE AIR CONDITIONING!!!!!

Sponsored by the Film Coop international film tour with a focus on short original independent films accompanied by festival director, John Columbus

- Mayor's Bike Ride (Saturday May 7th 2011) downtown Bicentennial Park Fountain Circle. Ride starts at 10:00am, registration starts at 9:00am.

- The Rocket City Short Film Festival
- Madison Street Festival
- Opens with a parade at 8:45 am and runs until 5pm in downtown Madison (by the gazebo and railroad tracks). There are lots of arts & crafts for sale/on display, lots of food, demonstrations, music, etc. The fair will go on, rain or shine. Parking is available at many of businesses nearby for a few bucks.
